Cultural Ministers Council Creative Innovation Economy Roundtable

Building a Creative Innovation Economy: Opportunities for the Australian and New Zealand cultural sectors in the digital environment

A 'Roundtable' of officials bringing together industry development, ICT, broadband, film and cultural interests was set up in late 2006 to map the priorities across jurisdictions and report back to the Cultural Ministers Council (CMC) on opportunities to strengthen the prospects for the creative sector in the digital environment.

CMC accepted the Roundtable's report, Building a Creative Innovation Economy, and agreed to its public release at its meeting in Canberra on Friday 29 February 2008.
