Initiated in 2003, the $35,000 Country Energy Art Prize for Landscape Painting is Australia's richest annual landscape art prize, equivalent in prize money to the esteemed Archibald Art Prize for Portrait Painting. Details and entry form provided. The event is a partnership between the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) and Country Energy, which seeks to highlight and reward the wealth of talent amongst artists across country and coastal NSW. It is also designed to encourage and support artists outside metropolitan areas and contribute to the development of the State's visual arts industry as a whole. |
